Its Christmas once again and you have completed the difficult task of buying gifts for your loved ones. Just like your gift you want this Christmas to be special; to be remembered by your friends and family; to be full of activities than just the traditional unwrapping of gifts. You want not just your gifts to be a surprise, but also the way they receive it. You want the entire event to be remembered in years to come.

If you want to beat the traditional method of laying the gifts under the tree you may consider a small surprise activity. Instead of placing the gifts under the tree you may consider hiding them around your house. Hide them in a place that is not obvious - each gift in a different location. Then write down the names of the person in colored paper with hints as to where the gifts are. Make sure that your hint is simplified enough. You do want them to find the treasure. Now instead of placing the gifts under the tree place the colored papers. This can be a surprise game that the entire family will enjoy.

You may also consider playing a little hide and seek. You may hide your more expensive gift in a bigger but inexpensive gift and leave it for your loved ones to find it for themselves. For example if you brought your wife a diamond ring you may think of hiding it in a bigger gift like a hat and presenting the hat to her. She will open the gift box and see the hat. However, when she tries to put it there is the diamond right for her. A truly great surprise!

Another way of presenting a gift would be to cover it with a lot of goodies. While wrapping the gifts you may try to fill up the empty space in the gift box with chocolates and sneakers. Your loved ones will have to swim a river of chocolates to reach to the gift. Not only will they have a gift they can enjoy, they will also have plenty of chocolates to keep them happy for a considerable long time. This idea works wonders in children.

As they say - a little thought goes a long way. All you need to do to make this Christmas a memorable one is to think off an idea that will catch your loved ones surprised and simply enjoy the look on their face.
